Born: June 2, 1962, Iceland

Originally a member of the surrealistic pop band Fan Houtens Kókó, of minimal-wave group Hið Afleita Þríhjól (Dúó) and together with poet Ebbo/Sigurjón Birgir Sigurðsson as duo Ónýta Bókasafnið, later went on to co-found The Sugarcubes and the Smekkleysa label.
Was briefly married to Björk (with whom they have a son, Sindri Eldon) and is the brother of Ari Eldon.
