In 1974, he was involved in Magnum International studio, before to finally open his own Translab studio in 1976 ; where he was known as the main cutting engineer until the 90’s, whereas the engineers Gérard Gustave and Jean-Pierre Bouquet assisted him for the mastering jobs, during the first mid of the 80’s.

During the Decca period, the cutting jobs of Christian Orsini can be identified by the letter ‘C’ after the matrix numbers, followed by the number of the cuts (e.g. : C1, C2, C3, C5, etc.). Please, do not enter these cut numbers when listing a lacquer cutting credit derived from the runouts, to the ANV.
