Czech trumpet player, vocalist, band leader, painter and graphic artist. Born July 6, 1922 in Tisa u Žlutic, died October 16, 1984 in Prague (former Czechoslovakia). One of the few survivors of the Mongolian tour bus accident of the Karel Duba Orchestra in August 1968. Father of trombonist and composer Jiří Jelínek.
