Hub Moore

During the mid- to late '80s, James Hubbard (Hub) Moore was the bassist for the Boston groove band Three Colors. When the five members of Three Colors went their separate ways in 1988, Moore made a gradual move to N.Y.C. and performed solo, simply as Hub Moore. Over the next decade, he led the Great Outdoors and contributed musical scores to Hal Hartley films. In 1998, he released HUB, his well-received debut, on Slash/London. The bluesy pop single Evil Twin became an alterna-radio favorite in Boston and N.Y.C.
