She twice went to New York City as East Village Punk and she co-founded first [l328560] and shortly after [l276275] in 1989 as non-profit organisation to promote diversity through equal access to healthcare through pop culture. She did this together with her friend John Carlin, after they saw many friends dying from AIDS in the 1980's art scene in NYC.
