Recorded on February 15th 1954 at Théâtre de l'Apollo, studio-live.

There is a slim vertical white banner/stripe down the left side of the black front cover (see picture) which, to my knowledge, does not occur with later versions. This stripe has the following text in black lettering: JACQUES BREL et ses chansons - 1ère série (empty space) PHILIPS N 76.027 R (empty space) JACQUES BREL 1ère série
The same text is printed on the right side of the back cover.
The cover is only held together along the spine as the top and bottom seem are open and unattached. It seems therefore rather like a folder.
The backside lists then current titles from the Philips catalogue with N 76.035 R (Fernand Raynaud which was also released by Philips in 1954) being the highest catalogue number.
