The front cover shows Zappa presents Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band.

The cover is red on green (front) and green on red (back).
The centerlabels are fakes of the Eurodisc label.
All mistakes in the track titles as on release:
A2 on both Cover & Label When I See Mommy I Feel Like A Mommy, not When I See Mommy I Feel Like A Mummy.
B3 on both Cover & Label Floppy Boots Stomp, not Floppy Boot Stomp.
B4 on both Cover & Label Ode A'Alex, not Ode T'Alex.
B6 on Cover Human Totem Polo (on Label the correct Human Totem Pole)

Tracks A1, A5, A7, B1 to B4, B6, B7 are from the tapes which emerged from the sessions of an album to be titled Bat Chain Puller, begun under the production of Frank Zappa. The project went into limbo as a result of legal wrangles caused between Zappa & Cohen (his manager) in the winding-up of the Straight/Bizarre labels.
An official 2012 recording has been released of the work completed on the project; [m478015]

Additional to the Bat Chain material;
Tracks A2 & A3 were recorded live at 'My Fathers Place', New York, 11th December 1978.
Track A4 is from an interview with John Peel, done in 1973.
Track A6 is a rendition of Seam Crooked Sam.
Track B5 is a rendition of Odd Jobs.
The inclusion of 81 Poop Hatch suggests this album was released after 1982 (when that track 1st appeared).

Sound levels change dramatically between live & studio tracks. The speed of the recording is also too fast, in comparison with tracks appearing on other releases.

The front cover has the additional strapline; dertotempolesagtmanstehtaufdemgrund (on front & back).
On label (side 2): DER TOTEM POLE SAGT MAN STEHT AUF DEM GRUND
