Bases for tracks A3, A6, B3, B4 & B5 recorded at Estudios Kirios (Madrid) in June 1991, with keyboards and engineering by Simon Franglen. Later bass and guitars were recorded engineered by Steve Barney Chase, assisted by Alfredo de la Fuente.
In The Townhouse Studios (London) these tracks were completed and we recorded tracks A1, A2, A4, A5, B1, B2 & B6 with Steve Barney Chase assisted by Marc Warner.
Strings on Recibes Cartas were arranged and directed by Chris Cameron and recorded on July 18th in Hit Factory Studios (London) with engineer Mike Ross Trebor. Strings section contracted by Isobel Griffiths.
In August we recorded vocals in Estudios Pertegas (Valencia) with Barney as engineer.
In September we recorded the percussions by Luis Jardim at Olympic Studios, where the album was mixed under Barney's supervision. Master was cut at The Townhouse (London) by Ian Cooper. (liner notes, Nov. 1991)
