Another odd assortment of liver stuff 1971-1991.

Track 1 (1985): a mish-mash of seemingly oddities, including a tip of the top hat to Sun Ra and Barry White. Compiled by the band for this project,
Track 2 (1989): a snippet from the music used behind the Baby King stories on the album The King And Eye,
Tracks 3 to 5 (1986): three lost tracks from the Stars And Hank sessions,
Tracks 6 to 8 (1971): (no comment),
Track 9 (1990): a bit of playfulness during the recording sessions for Freak Show,
Track 10 (1990): this is the original recording which was released only as a seven inch single included in a Italian lyrics book. Much moodier than the later arrangements on Cube-E,
Track 11 (1990): (no comment),
Track 12 (1990): this recording of a loose rehearsal for a live German TV show is a completely different up-beat arrangement, unlike later versions that appeared on The King And Eye and Cube-E projects,
Track 13 (1991): The Monkees's hit single is severely reworked here and was recorded especially for this project.

All songs by the usual folks except nods to Sun Ra (Space Is The Place), Frank Zappa (King Kong), John Stewart (Daydream Believer), Hank Williams (I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry, Pictures of Life's Other Side, Dear Brother) and Senada (Concerto and Symphony for Saxophone and Violin, and other unspecified pieces).

The recordings on this disc are from different time periods and were recorded under various circumstances. They may hiss and pop. Such is life.
